We have two guests for Episode #75. Arian Lewis is the founder and CEO of Kiln, a co-working space launched in Utah in 2018. Allison Kloek is the Director of Kiln’s newest location, coming to 21st and Pearl Street in Boulder and scheduled to open this fall.

We talk about why they chose Boulder, the future of the workspace and the challenges and opportunities that the coronavirus presents to the co-working sector, and Kiln’s vision for actively integrating a sense of community into the workplace.

Our guest for Episode #32 is Analiese Brown, Director of Talent & Culture at CampMinder. They’ve been building technology for camps since 2001.

Analiese and I discuss:

  • How to hire and retain great people in a competitive market such as Boulder’s.
  • What workplace culture actually is – and what it isn’t.
  • Why CampMinder puts company culture first and foremost in their mission.
  • How readily the values we learned at camp translate to today’s workplace.
